WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP:

WEF’s fund raising success over the years has been made possible by the tireless efforts of many volunteers and the great generosity of many financial supporters.  There are numerous ways to make a positive contribution and support the Wyckoff Public Schools.  Here are a few ideas: 

·         Attend WEF Events - These fundraisers are WEF’s main source of funds.  Consider running in the 5K Race or bringing the kids to the Family Walk and Carnival next year.   Or, assemble a table of your friends and neighbors for the Annual Dinner Dance and Auction this Spring.  These events are great fun, while supporting a great cause.

·         Volunteer – The cornerstone of WEF’s success is volunteerism.  The tireless effort of trustees and other community members is what makes our events so successful.  Please consider volunteering for the next WEF event or inquire about how you can become a Trustee.

·         Make a Donation – It is because of your generous financial support that WEF has been able to have such a positive impact on the educational programs in the Wyckoff public schools.  Donations to WEF are welcome in many forms.  Below are some options:

v      Donate Items, Services or Gift Certificates for the Annual Dinner Dance Auction – Generate exposure for your business, while helping to make our Annual Auction a great success.  If you would like to donate an item or service for this year’s Dinner Dance, please contact Corinn Scher corinns@optonline.net via email or call 201-891-9336.  Please send your ad and/or donation by February 18, 2006 to WEF, 31 Edgewood Ave, Wyckoff, NJ  07481, ATT:  Corinn Scher.

v      Donate Stocks and/or Securities – Donating stocks or other securities may enable you to contribute to WEF in a manner that provides you with an additional tax benefit.  Keep in mind that donations of securities and other property are valued at their current market value for tax purposes.  Please consult your own tax professional to see if this donation option makes sense for you. 

v      Ask your Employer to Match your Donation  - Your gift can have a double impact, as many corporations will match donations made by their employees. If your company has a Matching Gifts Program, just request the form that will multiply your gift by two. We would be happy to provide information that will qualify your donation for matching gifts and assist with the completion of forms.
